Say it due to the sharper focusing costlier lenses and technically high-end cameras that have amazing sensors, these are the days where a strand of hair is also seen crystal clear on the silver screen. So hiding the age of senior stars by putting them some extra makeup and making them looking polished isn’t possible now. The current set of senior heroes need to understand this a lot.
In recent times, the likes of Rajnikanth understood their age well and stopped romancing hotties in their 20s. In films like Kaala, Rajni portrayed the role of a 50-year-old and chose heroines who have matured looks, like Huma Qureshi. It looks like even our senior hero Rajasekhar has to take a cue from this.
Though Rajasekhar is 47-years-old, he has lost that touch of youth on his face, which is clearly evident now. But then, his pairing with Adah Sharma happened for Kalki and it is looking quite odd we have to say. At least if Rajasekhar is turning up like an Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots to look young, then the couple’s look would have complimented each other. But in Kalki, Adah looked like a kid and Rajasekhar is quite aged.
Recently Nagarjuna also faced similar criticism for roping in Rakul Preet for his Manmadhudu 2 and Venkatesh also faced the music for his pairing with Tamanna. But somehow, content is saving them a bit, otherwise, they need to rethink about this age cap and chose to cast wisely.
